The A913 in Newburgh

The A913 road is an A-road in the Scottish Council Areas Fife and Perth and Kinross .

course

The road begins as a junction from the A91 ( Bannockburn - St Andrews ) on the western edge of Cupar in Fife. It leads in a north-westerly direction through a sparsely populated region of Fife. After around six kilometers, the A913 crosses the A92 ( Dunfermline - Stonehaven ) and gradually turns west. After the road had previously only connected individual farmsteads to the road network, it reached Lindores at Lindores Loch, the first village on its route.

3.5 km to the northwest, the A913 is the main thoroughfare for the village of Newburgh . Crossing the border between Fife and Perth and Kinross, the road runs through the towns of Abernethy and Aberargie before joining the A912 ( Perth - Muirhead ) 200 m west after a total distance of 15 miles .
