Yetts of Muckhart , often spelled Yetts o 'Muckhart , ( Scottish Gaelic Geataichean Mhuc-Àird ) is a settlement in the east of the Scottish council area of Clackmannanshire and the traditional Scottish county of Perthshire . It is about 13 km northeast of Alloa and 14 km northwest of Dunfermline at the foot of the Ochil Hills and belongs to the Hillfoots Villages . The Firth of Forth flows approximately 15 km south. The Devon reached from Glen Devon in the north the plain of the Forth and encloses Yetts of Muckhart the east and south.
Yetts of Muckhart is connected to the road network by the A91 . It is also on the A823 , the only major national road that crosses the Ochils chain. Together with the Pool of Muckhart to the west, it forms the Parish Muckhart . In 1991 this had a total of 520 inhabitants. At the beginning of the 19th century, a toll station for the following street was set up in Yetts of Muckhart.
