Clackmannanshire and Dunblane is a constituency for the Scottish Parliament . It was newly created in 2011 as part of the constituency revision as one of nine constituencies in the electoral region of Mid Scotland and Fife . The areas were previously largely within the former constituency of Ochil . Clackmannanshire and Dunblane comprises the entire Clackmannanshire Council Area and parts of the Stirling Council Area . The constituency sends a representative.
The constituency covers an area of 240.5 km 2 . In the 2011 census survey, a total of 67,944 people lived within its borders.
