Dunfermline is a constituency for the Scottish Parliament . It was newly created in 2011 as part of the constituency revision as one of nine constituencies in the electoral region of Mid Scotland and Fife . The areas were previously largely within the former constituencies of Dunfermline East and Dunfermline West . The constituency of Dunfermline includes the eponymous city of Dunfermline and parts of the Council Area Fife north and west of Dunfermline . The constituency sends a representative.

The constituency extends over an area of ​​193.5 km 2 . In the 2011 census survey, a total of 72,643 people lived within its borders.
