Kirkcaldy is a constituency for the Scottish Parliament . It was introduced in 1999 as one of nine constituencies in the electoral region of Mid Scotland and Fife , which was redesigned as part of the constituency revision in 2011 and continues to include nine constituencies. Changes were also made to the boundaries of the Kirkcaldy constituency. It includes the south-western areas of the Council Area Fife with the cities of Burntisland , Kirkcaldy and Methil . The constituency sends a representative.

The constituency extends over an area of ​​80.6 km 2 . In the 2011 census survey, a total of 78,007 people lived within its borders.
