Ochil was a constituency for the Scottish Parliament . It was introduced in 1999 as one of nine constituencies in the electoral region of Mid Scotland and Fife , which was redesigned as part of the constituency revision in 2011 and continues to include nine constituencies. Here the constituency of Ochil was abolished. It covered the entire area of ​​the Council Area Clackmannanshire and parts of the regions of Stirling and Perth and Kinross with the cities of Alloa , Kinross and Tullibody . In the 2001 census survey, a total of 74,941 people lived within its borders.
