North East Fife is a constituency for the Scottish Parliament . It was introduced in 1999 as one of nine constituencies in the electoral region of Mid Scotland and Fife , which was redesigned as part of the constituency revision in 2011 and continues to include nine constituencies. This also included minor changes to the boundaries of the North East Fife constituency. It includes the northeastern areas of the Council Area Fife with the cities of Auchtermuchty , Cupar and St Andrews . The constituency sends a representative.
The constituency extends over an area of 715.3 km 2 . In the 2011 census survey, a total of 73,327 people lived within its borders.
