AB Fasa is a packaging technology company in the Lithuanian city of Marijampolė . The packaging machine manufacturer offers the repackaging lines (filling and packaging , processed cheese dosing, homogenizing, flow pack).
In 2008 it achieved a turnover of 324.5 million litas .
history
In 1959, the Kapsukas food industry vending machine plant ( Kapsuko maisto pramonės automatų gamykla ) was established. In 1961 the first food packaging machine for processed cheese was produced . In 1977 the machines were produced with a value of 14.8 million rubles . In 1989 the company became "Fasa". After the independence of Lithuania the company was privatized. In 1994 "Fasa" became Akcinė bendrovė (AB). In 2004 a quality management system according to ISO 9001: 2001 was established . In 2011 the company received the "Gazzele" award from the Lithuanian daily UAB Verslo žinios . In 2014 there were 196 employees.
