The company was the successor to the British AC Cars . The company was headquartered in Sliema while the factory was in Ħal-Far . It was founded in 2002, 2004 or 2005, depending on the source. Alan Lubinsky was the owner. The production of automobiles began. The brand name was AC . John Owen was the chief engineer. In August 2006 the company had 15 employees. The production was done by hand. The vehicles were also sold to the USA . Depending on the source, production ended in 2007, 2008 or 2009. AC Cars Manufacturing (USA) from the USA was a licensee and planned the production in a plant in Connecticut . It is unclear whether vehicles were actually produced there.

vehicles

One model was the AC Mk V , based on the AC Cobra . This was a two-seater roadster . The body was made of synthetic resin reinforced with carbon fibers . A V8 engine from Ford with a capacity of 5000 cc and 340 hp (250 kW) was mounted in the front of the vehicle and drove the rear axle. In August 2006 the first complete vehicle was exported to the UK . In 2007, four examples of the right-hand drive version were created. The model was in production from 2004 to 2007, according to a source.

In addition, the models AC Ace as an open two-seater, AC Mamba as a coupé version of the Cobra and AC Mk VI as a variant of the AC Mk V are mentioned. The AC Mk VI , however, was only manufactured by a successor company.

Silverstone Auctions put a 2007 AC Mk V up for auction on July 23, 2011 , expecting a price of £ 40,000 to £ 50,000 , but did not auction the vehicle.
