history

On June 21, 2006, Alma de Mexico began selling cheap flights over the Internet. In price comparison, Alma de Mexico was able to establish itself against the low-cost airlines Interjet and Volaris . On Saturday, November 7th, 2008, the airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte announced that Alma de Mexico had ceased operations and went bankrupt. The reason given was the severe conditions that the entire industry had been struggling with for several months.

fleet

Alma last owned 12 Bombardier CRJ200 aircraft . Two Bombardier CRJ900 deliveries at the end of 2008 were ordered, but the order was canceled as part of the bankruptcy.
