In 1925 provided the Arth-Rigi line ( ARB ) comprises a gear railcars BCeh 2/4 7 in operation. The railcar is now known by the Rigi-Bahnen as BDhe 2/4 .
history
The Rigi-Bahnen (RB) railcar was given to itself in 1925 by the Arth-Rigi-Bahn (ARB) for its 50th anniversary. He is the 1911 acquired BCeh 3.2 6 similar but received four axes, and so he up to two enhanced performance Vorstellwagen could push uphill. The SIG and SLM created the mechanical and structural parts venture. The MFO delivered and installed the electrical equipment. As was already a tradition at the ARB, this railcar was also given a luggage compartment.

After the delivery of the last shuttle train BDhe 4/4 15 + Bt 25 , the «7i» could be put back in reserve. He continues to work with an introductory car on peak days. Today the BCeh 2/4 7 is also used with the B 31, which is specially used to transport wheelchairs and is equipped with a loading lift.
Redrawings
Over the years, the railcar was always new names upon delivery as BCeh 2.4 it was called in 1946 to CFeh 2/4 , from 1956 to Berr 2.4 , from 1962 to BDeh 2/4 until then in 1966 received its current designation BDhe 2/4 .
Conversions
In 1939, railcar 7 was rebuilt, while the output was increased from 288 hp to 610 hp, increasing the speed from 12 km / h to 15 km / h.
Coloring
The original color was white with large ARB letters on the front below the window and the number 7 above. When it was rebuilt in 1939, it was given the white / blue paintwork that was still in use for a long time and it still wears today.
