The film Johnnie goes to the cinema attracted by a movie poster. Through clumsiness and his strong reactions to the film scenes, he causes a commotion in the cinema and is thrown out. Without further ado he went to the Keystone film studios, where he met well-known film actors. He manages to get into the studios, and he creates all sorts of chaos there too, mainly because he is still unable to distinguish between acting and reality.
