Aa , possibly also AaAa , was an ancient Egyptian architect and site manager , his title was “ chief of construction workers ” or “ great chief of construction workers ” ( imy-rȝ-iqdw or imy-rȝ-iqdw-ˁȝ ). He lived during the Middle Kingdom (2119–1794 / 93 BC).

Aa is one of several names on the northern from the cemetery of Abydos derived dead Tele of the guild chief ( jmj-rȝ WRT ) Sahepu are listed. Aas's relationship with Sahepu is unclear. Reading the name is problematic; it is uncertain whether the first element “Aa” (ancient Egyptian for “large”) is part of the name or a descriptive adjective as part of the title.
