Aaron Grosser (born October 6, 1996 in Hamm ) is a former German cyclist .
Athletic career
As a junior, Aaron Grosser had his first national successes on the track . In 2013 he was German vice-champion in team sprint and team pursuit , the following year he finished third in team sprint together with Felix Zschocke and Luca Felix Happke . From August he drove for the Stölting team as a trainee , in 2016 he received a contract with the Sauerland team . Since then he has preferred to race on the road .
Also in 2016 Grosser won a stage of the “International Tour of the Oder” for juniors. In 2018 he finished sixth at Rund um Köln and was third in the U23 road championship . In 2019 he switched to Team Bike Aid . In April of that year he finished second in Belgrade-Banja Luka and achieved his first success at the UCI Europe Tour in the sprint of a 40-strong front field on the second stage of the Tour of Mersin .
In August 2020, Aaron Grosser announced his retirement from active cycling. One reason he gave was that because of the COVID-19 pandemic, many races had been canceled this year and that he had therefore had to decide on vocational training.
