Abbas Suan (born January 27, 1976 in Sachnin ; Arabic عباس صوان, DMG ʿAbbās Ṣuwān , Hebrew עבאס סואן) is an Arab-Israeli soccer player .

He was the captain of the only Arab first division soccer club in Israel, Hapoel Bnei Sachnin , which surprisingly won the Israeli Cup in 2004. Suan joined the Israeli national soccer team in 2004 and made his debut against Azerbaijan on February 18, 2004. He caused a sensation thanks to his important goal against Ireland in World Cup qualification.

Even so, right-wing Israelis still whistle at Suan for his Arab origins. His signing from Beitar Jerusalem was withdrawn under pressure from the majority of Beitar fans.

After his club Bnei Sachnin was relegated to the second division after the 2005/2006 season, Suan first moved to Maccabi Haifa , and in 2007 to Hapoel Ironi Kirjat Schmona . In 2009 he returned to Sachnin.
