Abderrahim Ouakili (born December 12, 1970 in Rabat , Morocco ) is a former Moroccan football player. He played in attacking midfield.

Career

Ouakili started his career at FUS Rabat in Morocco before moving to Germany for SV Maroc Frankfurt . A short time later he went to TGM SV Jügesheim . In 1994 he moved to 1. FSV Mainz 05 in the 2. Bundesliga for a transfer fee of DM 10,000 .

In January 1998, TSV 1860 Munich signed him for around 750,000 DM. For this club, he completed 40 appearances in the Bundesliga in two seasons .

After he no longer played a role in coach Werner Lorant's plans and a change of club was suggested to him, he moved to Tennis Borussia Berlin in the summer of 1999 for two million marks , then back to 1. FSV Mainz 05. There his competition was strong, so that he came to only 16 second division games. After a disappointing season, he went to Greece for AO Xanthi at the end of the 2000/01 season on a free transfer . After strong games, Karlsruher SC brought him back to Germany in January 2003 .

After the 2004/05 season and numerous injuries, Ouakili ended his career.

National team

Ouakili played eleven times as a midfielder for the Moroccan national team , scoring two goals.
