Abdu Usman Abubakar

Abdu Usman Abubakar (born August 14, 1954 ) is a Nigerian diplomat.

Abubakar initially worked as a teacher after completing his studies, before joining the foreign service . He was employed at the Permanent Mission of his country to the United Nations in Geneva and at the Nigerian embassies in Buenos Aires ( Argentina ) and Pretoria ( South Africa ). Between 2007 and 2011 Abubakar worked as chief of protocol and interpreter for the President of Nigeria. Since October 19, 2011 he has been accredited as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Berlin ( Federal Republic of Germany ).
