Business & Diplomacy sees itself as a "magazine for foreign policy, economy & lifestyle" and is aimed at diplomats, politicians and business leaders. It was founded in 2008 by the journalist and publisher Frank Schüttig and has been published by him ever since. It is published quarterly by Diplomat Media in Berlin and has a circulation of 10,000 copies.
The editors-in-chief, supported by an editorial team and correspondents, are Frank Schüttig and Rainer Schubert . The advisory board includes Ann-Katrin Bauknecht , Wolf-Ruthart Born , Klaus E. Goehrmann , Jürgen Hogrefe , Jürgen Holz , Wolfgang Ischinger , Stefan Liebing , Friedbert Pflüger , Bernhard von der Planitz , Helene Rang , Eberhard Sandschneider , Daniela Schwarzer , Regine Sixt and Volker Treier .
The magazine publishes an electronic newsletter every month . With the support of Siemens AG and the BMW Group , an online dictionary on foreign embassies in Germany is also offered.
