Regine Sixt

Regine Sixt (born February 15, 1943 as Regine Prestel ) is a German entrepreneur . She is Senior Executive Vice President Marketing of the international mobility service provider Sixt SE , heads the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation as CEO , and is Honorary Consul General of Barbados in Germany.

Life

After training in Munich and language studies in Cambridge and Paris , Regine Sixt joined the Sixt company in 1976. In the same year she married Erich Sixt , with whom she expanded the company. She is responsible for international marketing, established relationships with hotels and airlines worldwide and shaped the company's corporate identity . She is also responsible for corporate fashion , image films and international communication at Sixt. She also designs the headquarters of Sixt, the worldwide Sixt branches and the appearance at around 90 trade fairs every year. She has 40 employees in her marketing department and is responsible for Sixt's international expansion as well as the expansion of the franchise system.

In 2000 she founded the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation under the title "Drying tears". The foundation is involved in 40 projects around the world for children in need and also acts as the official CSR program of Sixt SE.

In the same year she became Honorary Consul of Barbados in Bavaria and in 2012 Honorary Consul General in Germany. She is also committed to the Israeli-German dialogue and was the first woman and first German to receive the Citizen of the World Award from Hadassah . She also received the Scopus Award from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Golden Victoria for Integration from the Germany Foundation Integration of the Association of German Magazine Publishers .

Publications

She has been publishing the GoSixt customer magazine since 2006, which appears four times a year. She is co-editor of Business Traveler by Sixt magazine and editor of Inside Sixt, the group's employee magazine .

In 2012 she published and produced the anniversary edition Roots & Wings for 100 years of Sixt as well as the limited art edition TatenKraft - the Sixt centuries (image: Costantino Ciervo, text: Christoph Santner).

Together with Oliver Berben, she is the producer of several corporate films about Sixt, which received the Das Goldene Stadttor award from 2011 to 2014 .
