List of world ranking winners in cycling ball

In the list of world ranking winners in cycling , the winners of the annual world ranking are named. This ranking is maintained by the UCI . In the world ranking, points are awarded for international and sometimes also national tournaments and these are added together. At the beginning of each year, each team starts again from zero points.

Rules and points scale

The individual world rankings are calculated according to the rules of the UCI as follows:

• World Championships : 60 to 1 points for the first 25 teams
• World Cup / UCI A Event ^(a) : 50 to 4 points for the first 15 teams
• Continental Championships and Cups ^(b) : 40 to 1 points for the first 15 teams
• National Championship / UCI B Event ^(c) : 30 to 6 points for the first 10 teams

^(a) For a UCI A event, at least 8 participating teams from 4 nations are required

^(b)These include: European Cup Elite , European Cup U23, Junior EM

^(c) A UCI B event requires at least 5 participating teams from 2 nations
