Abdul Hamid (hockey player, 1942)
Abdul Hamid , also Hamid Abdul II (born July 7, 1942 ), is a former Pakistani hockey player .
Only 1.63 meters tall, Abdul Hamid was the goalkeeper of the Pakistani national team that won the silver medal at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. He was used in all eight games and received a total of four goals, the last in the final against India, which the Indians won 1-0. He won another silver medal at the Asian Games in Bangkok in 1966 . Again, the Pakistani team lost to India in the final.
