Abdul Salam Abbadi

Abdul Salam Abbadi ( Arabic عبد السلام العبّادي, DMG ʿAbd as-Salām al-ʿAbbādī ; * 1943 in Amman , Jordan ) is a former Minister for Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in the cabinet of the Prime Minister of Jordan, Abdullah Ensour , under King Abdullah II.

He is one of the Fellows of the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought (Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought). His functions include the presidency at Aal-al-Bayt University .

He was one of the 138 signatories of the open letter a common word between us and you ( Engl. A Common Word Between Us and You ), the personalities of Islam to "leaders of Christian churches everywhere" (Engl. "Leaders of Christian Churches, everywhere ... ") (October 13, 2007).
