Abdullah al-Hilali ( Arabic عبد الله الهلالي, DMG ʿAbd Allāh al-Hilālī ; * September 2, 1970 ) is an Omani football referee . He has been a FIFA referee since 2002 and has so far played in the Asian Champions League and seven games in qualifying for the 2010 World Cup . At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 , he led the preliminary round games Cameroon - Honduras (1-0) and Argentina - Serbia (2-0). Al-Hilali was also in action at the 2011 Asian Cup , where he led the games South Korea - Bahrain (2: 1) and China - Uzbekistan (2: 2) in the preliminary round . Abdullah al-Hilali lives in Muscat and is a professional soldier .
