Abfukk is a German-speaking punk band from Wegberg , North Rhine-Westphalia , which processes different influences, including German punk , hardcore punk and hip-hop .
Band history
Abfukk were founded in 2009 from the remnants of the hardcore punk band The Itallian Stallion . At the beginning of 2009 the two songs Need You No More and Punker were put online. The first show took place on March 28th in Cuba ( Heinsberg ). In the same year a first demo with four tracks appeared, which sold out very quickly. At the same time, the material of the debut album asi, arrogant, scrapped was recorded, which, however, was only released on LP in 2010 as a self-production due to a missing cover and remixing. From 2012, the independent label Twisted Chords took over the distribution . In 2011, the extended play Keine.Kompromisse .
In 2015 the second album bock.auf.stress was released via Twisted Chords , followed by a split single with Empowerment .
Singer Marcel is also a member of the band Sniffing Glue , with whom Abfukk often tours together. Two members of the band are straight edge .
style
Abfukk specialize in direct punk rock with partly deliberately " anti-social ", chubby and direct, scene-related texts. One sets oneself apart from the intellectual texts that predominate in modern punk rock and seeks solidarity with the 1980s German punks scene. They try to tie in with the DIY ethics of the hardcore punk scene. From the second album onwards there were other influences. For example, Attentat is a German rap title on the album that also quotes the Beastie Boys .
