Abi Tucker

Abigail Anne "Abi" Tucker (born January 22, 1973 ) is an Australian actress and rock singer .

Life

Tucker began her acting career at the age of nine. Shortly thereafter, she began singing as well and won the 1992 casting show New Faces .

Two years later she starred for a year in the television series Heartbreak High , although her role was originally designed only as a guest appearance. She also managed to release the single Breathe In , which was featured on the soundtrack for the series and with which she at Wetten, dass ..? occurred. She then toured the UK and worked on her singing career before she had a guest role on the Australian series Water Rats in 1999 and soon became the regular cast on Wildside . In this series she was seen again with Alex Dimitriades , who had also starred in Heartbreak High .

In 2000, she started her cinema career with the Australian comedy The Wogbox , before starring in the 2001 film Fear . There she was again represented with two songs on the soundtrack: Move You and Home .

From 2001 to 2003 Tucker was seen in the television series The Secret Life of Us , on whose soundtrack she is also represented with two titles.

At the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2006 she played a role in the play Breakfast with Jonny Wilkinson and presented songs from her second album, Rough Diamond , which was previously unreleased .

In 2007 she took on the role of Grace Kingston McLeod in the Australian television series McLeod's Daughters .
