Abigail Forbes (born March 10, 2001 ) is an American tennis player .

Career

Forbes started playing tennis at the age of six and has so far mainly played on the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour , but has not yet won a title.

In 2017 she entered the US Open with wildcards in both the female singles and doubles , but was eliminated in the first round. She also competed in the US Open junior singles in 2018 , but was also eliminated in the first round.

In 2019 she played the junior singles and junior doubles of the French Open and reached the round of 16 in doubles with her partner Savannah Broadus . In the junior singles at Wimbledon she reached the second round with a win against Lyubow Kostenko , where she lost to Diane Parry in two sets, in the junior doubles she won with Savannah Broadus the title against Kamilla Bartone and Oxana Selechmetjewa 7: 5, 5: 7 and 6: 2. For the women's doubles at the US Open 2019 , she and her partner Alexa Noel received a wildcard, but they both lost in the first round.
