Diane Parry (born September 1, 2002 in Nice ) is a French tennis player .

Career

Parry began playing tennis at the age of five and lists the hard court as his favorite surface . So far, she has mainly played on the ITF Juniors Tour and the ITF Women's Circuit , where she has already won a double title.

For the individual competition she received a wildcard for the qualification at the French Open 2018 , where she defeated Jana Fett in three sets with 7: 6, 6 , 1: 6 and 7: 5 in the first round . In the second round she then lost 6: 7 6 and 0: 6 to Rebecca Šramková . In doubles , she and her partner Clara Burel also received a wildcard for the main field, but were defeated there in their first game by Sara Errani and Kirsten Flipkens 4-6 and 2-6

In September 2018, she was eliminated in the second round of the US Open junior singles . In the junior doubles she reached the round of 16 with her partner Clara Burel.

Diane Parry has been named the ITF Junior World Champion by the ITF .
