Abigail Mason
Abigail "Abby" Mason (born March 6, 1989 in Lansing , Michigan ) is an American theater and film actress and musical artist .
Life
Mason's interest in acting began at the age of eight. At the age of 14 she was already involved in over twenty theater and musical productions. At the age of 15, thanks to an agency in Los Angeles , she made it into the cards of channels such as Fox , Disney , HBO , Lifetime Television and Comedy Central . She began her film acting career in 2006 by appearing in one episode each of the TV series Mind of Mencia and Hotel Zack & Cody, as well as a cast in the short film Shank .
While filming Saving Sarah Cain , she learned about Pennsylvania Dutch and was nominated for the 2008 Young Artist Awards for Best Actress in a TV Movie, Miniseries or Special for her role as Lyddie Cottrell . However, the actress Danielle Chuchran was awarded for her role as Anna Mae Cottrell in the same film. Mason and Chuchran stood in front of the camera again in 2014 in Star Warriors - Survivor . From 2013 to 2014 she played the role of Ava Coast in the mini-television series The Veracity of Truth .
She is a supporter of the non-profit organization Compassion International and is the godmother of a child from the Dominican Republic . It also supports projects for the fight against AIDS and for the medical promotion of children in Zambia by the organization Illuminate .
She is the cousin of the actor Adam Hagenbuch .
