Abolhassan Foroughi   ( Persian أبو الحسن فروغي; * 1884 in Tehran ; † February 9, 1960 ibid) was a Persian educator , poet and diplomat .

Career

Mirza Abu al-Hassan Foroughi was a brother of Mohammad Ali Foroughi . He was employed in the Ministry of Education, where he received a secondary school of secondary education sector that the university founded introduced.

In 1933 he was transferred from the Ministry of Education to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and sent as Persian envoy in Bern and as permanent Persian delegate to the League of Nations in Geneva . He has been described as a cultured poet and writer who was not interested in politics or financial gain.

It is assumed that he had to oversee the education of the then fifteen year old Mohammad Reza Pahlavi , who was educated in a Swiss school at the time.
