Abraham Benoit (born September 13, 1703 in Bern , † May 18, 1775 in Brandis (Lützelflüh)) was a Swiss magistrate .

Abraham Benoit was born in Bern as the son of the Bern city doctor Albrecht Benoit (1654–1739) and Anna Rosina Ryhiner. In 1735 he married Johanna Barbara Knecht (1705–1768), daughter of the pastor David Knecht and Veronika Tschiffeli . From 1734 Benoit was an accountant in the German Seckelschreiberei (financial administration), secretary of the commission for English funds, from 1745 a member of the Grand Council, a member of the Commerce Council. From 1756 to 1761 he was Governor of Interlaken and from 1770 until his death Governor of Brandis . Abraham Benoit had the house at 28 Münstergasse built in Bern around 1765.
