Ken Tokura ( Japanese 都 倉 賢 , Tokura Ken ; born June 16, 1986 in Tokyo , Tokyo Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Ken Tokura learned to play football in the youth team at Kawasaki Frontale . Here he also signed his first professional contract in 2005. The club from Kawasaki , a city on the Japanese main island of Honshū in the northeast of Kanagawa Prefecture , played in the country's highest league, the J. League Division 1 . In 2007 he was runner-up with the club. From July 2008 to December 2008 he was loaned to the second division Thespakusatsu Gunma . After the loan ended, he was signed by the Kusatsu club in early 2009. In 2010 he signed a contract with the first division club Vissel Kobe in Kobe . In late 2012 he was relegated to the second division with Kobe. A year later they became runner-up in the J2 and rose straight back to the first division. After promotion, he left Vissel and joined the second division Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo from Sapporo in early 2014 . In 2016 he was J2 champion with Sapporo and rose to the top division. After five years in Sapporo, he signed a contract with league rivals Cerezo Osaka in Osaka in early 2019 .
