Abraham Ruchat
Abraham Ruchat (baptized February 27, 1680 in Vevey ; † September 29, 1750 in Lausanne ) was a Swiss historian and theologian .
Ruchat was professor of rhetoric and theology at the Lausanne Academy , whose rector he was from 1736 to 1739. His Histoire de la Réformation de la Suisse (1727–1728) is considered the first history of the Reformation in Switzerland to be written in French .
