Ernst Röthlisberger

Ernst Röthlisberger (born November 20, 1858 in Burgdorf BE ; † January 29, 1926 in Bern ) was a Swiss lawyer .

Röthlisberger was from 1881 to 1885 Professor of Philosophy, History and Legal History at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia . From 1888 to 1926 he worked at the International Bureau for Intellectual Property in Bern, the last few years as its director. From 1912 to 1926 he was associate professor at the University of Bern . In 1923 he chaired the first international congress on intellectual property .
