The song was penned by Kiko Masbaum, Michelle Leonard and Sean Colon. It was premiered on March 18, 2006 as part of the DSDS finals , in which Grosch only took second place. To the surprise of many, however, he was immediately offered a contract with Sony BMG so that his final title could also be published. The song hit DSDS winner Tobias Regner's I Still Burn from the top on May 5th . After just a week, the title slipped to third place.

Confessional

Since August 11, 2006, Confessional has also been available as a single, because, according to Grosch, it is the title that "was best received by the fans on the tour".

Cover songs

The bonus track Helpless When She Smiles was covered by the Backstreet Boys in 2007 and distributed on the Internet for advertising for their new album. The Polish pop singer Natalia Lesz covered Confessional for her first album "Natalia Lesz", released in 2008.

Concert tour

Together with the DSDS winner and his good friend Tobias Regner , he went on a month-long tour of Germany in 2006 entitled Absolute Straight . The two words of this name correspond to the album titles by Regner ("Straight") and Grosch. The last concert took place on June 15th in Halle (Westphalia) .
