The Abtsgmünder Bank -Raiffeisen- eG is a German cooperative bank with headquarters in Abtsgmünd in Ostalbkreis ( Baden-Wuerttemberg ).

history

The Abtsgmünd Loan Association was founded on December 8, 1890. The origin of the cooperative banks goes back to the principles of self-help, self-responsibility and self-administration of Franz Hermann Schulze-Delitzsch and Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen in the middle of the 19th century.

As a result of mergers between 1958 and 1972 with the savings and loan funds Fachsenfeld , Laubach-Leinroden, Hohenstadt , Neubronn and Pommertsweiler, the Abtsgmünd cooperative bank pioneered a reform that was later partially followed up in the municipal sector.

In 2002, Raiffeisenbank Untergröningen eG was integrated into the overall bank by a majority resolution of the general meeting and managed as a branch.
