The Mexican Academy of Sciences ( es . : Academia Mexicana de Ciencias ; en . : Mexican Academy of Sciences (AMC)) is a non-governmental academy of sciences in Mexico .
The academy was founded in Mexico City on August 12, 1959.

The Academy is divided into two classes, the class for the exact and natural sciences and the humanities and social sciences. The academy has 1847 full members and 58 corresponding members, including nine Nobel Prize winners (as of 2007).
Geographically, the academy is divided into three regions, the central region, the south-west 1 region, the south-west 2 region, the north-west region and the north-east region.
There are several independent scientific institutes, laboratories and other scientific institutions.
