Ace Ventura is an American comedy - animated series based on the two Ace Ventura movies with Jim Carrey in the 1990's based. From 1995 to 1997, two seasons were initially produced and broadcast on CBS . After a three-year hiatus, a third season was produced in 2000, which was then shown on Nickelodeon .

The framework plot is based on the movies Ace Ventura - An animal detective and Ace Ventura - It's getting wild with Jim Carrey . Ace Ventura is a bizarre guy with a distinctive quiff and a strange taste for brightly colored Hawaiian shirts. He has a special love for animals and specializes as a detective in finding wounded animals or otherwise helping to solve problems related to animals. His capuchin monkey Spike is always by his side.
