The Ache (French: Ruisseau d'Achen), also called Wolferbach , is a right-hand tributary on the Saar . It is about 15.4 km long and contributes to the drainage of the western Pays de Bitche .

The source of the Ache is 356 m above sea level in the district of Gros-Réderching . The stream flows past numerous mills, mainly in a south-westerly and then westerly direction to the Kalhausen district of Weidesheim , where it flows into the Saar. On the way he passes the eponymous place Achen , where the Singlinger Bach flows from the left .
