Achim Sakic
Achim Sakic (* 1965 in Klein -zimmer near Darmstadt ) is a German artist who works primarily as a draftsman .
life and work
Achim Sakic has lived and worked in Freiburg im Breisgau since 1983 . From 1983 to 1990 he studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Freiburg with Peter Dreher . From 2000 to 2001 Achim Sakic held a teaching position at the College of Design in Pforzheim .
In 1998 and 1999 his works were exhibited at the annual exhibition at the Kunsthalle Basel . In 2002 his drawings were shown in the exhibition “Artists Help Artists” of the Art Foundation Baden-Württemberg in Stuttgart and in the exhibition “Madame Réalité” of the Stadtische Galerie Waldkraiburg. 2012 Kienzle Art Foundation, `Related Structures ´, Berlin (with Frank Maier) 2015 Ludwig Forum Aachen,` Le Souffleur´ Schürmann meets Ludwig.
He has received a number of prizes and grants, including the state graduate grant from Baden-Württemberg (1991/1992), a grant from the Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg (1994) and the Stiftung Kunstfonds Bonn (1995), a fellowship at the Cité Internationale des Arts Paris (1999/2000), the sponsorship award from the Artists' Association of Baden-Württemberg (2000) and a scholarship from the Künstlerhaus Schloss Balmoral (2001).
