Ahmet Hacıosman

Ahmet Hacıosman ( Greek Αχμέτ Χατζή Οσμάν Achmét Chatzí Osmán , born January 1, 1958 in Komotini ) is a Greek farmer and politician of the social democratic party PASOK .

He comes from the Turkish minority in Western Thrace . He attended the Theological High Institute of today's Marmara University in Turkey. From 1985 to 1990 he was the editor-in-chief of Haká Davét , and in 1986 he was elected to the Komotini municipal council. From 1991 to 2001 he was the school board president at a minority school.

From 1999 to 2007 he was chairman of the minority party Kómma Isótitas, Irínis ke Filías and from 2002 to 2007 Vice-Prefect of Rodopi Prefecture . In the parliamentary elections in 2007 he was elected as a member of PASOK for the constituency of Rodopi in the Greek parliament , and in the elections in 2009 , May 2012 and June 2012 he was re-elected.

He is married to Fantile Ali Oglou and has a son and a daughter.
