The party of equality, peace and friendship ( Greek Κόμμα Ισότητας, Ειρήνης και Φιλίας comma Isotitas, Irinis ke Filias , ΚΙΕΦ; Turkish Dostluk Eşitlik Barış Partisi , DEB Partisi) is a centrist and socially liberal political party , the outward officially adheres to the requirement for parties not to represent particular interests for ethnic groups, but unofficially disregards the requirement and stands for the expansion of the rights of regional Muslims in north-east Greece. She is a member of the European Free Alliance .

The Komma Isotitas, Irinis ke Filias party was founded on September 13, 1991 by the Greek MP Sadik Ahmet . Its predecessor was the Independent Muslim List . Other well-known members of the parties are or were the politicians Ismail Molla , Achmet Faikoglou , Ahmet Hacıosman , Çetin Mandacı , Galip Galip , the wife of the founder Isik Ahmet , Mustafa Boşnak and Mustafa Ali Çavuş .

The party for equality, peace and friendship never ran in elections to the Greek parliament , but repeatedly supported parties from different political camps; after the introduction of a 3% threshold clause in 1993, it, like many other small splinter parties, was barred from entering parliament. In the parliamentary elections in 1996 and 2000 , she received one and then two seats with the support of the Panhellenistic Socialist Movement (PASOK). In the 2004 election , the party supported the conservative New Democracy (ND) this time and received a seat in the Greek parliament . In the 2007 and 2009 elections , the party again supported the left-wing PASOK and received two seats each. For the election of the country's Parliament in May 2012 , the party supported the conservative Democratic Alliance , but received no seat. Even with the new election next month , she received despite the support of the Democratic Left no seat. For the first time the party came to the 2014 European elections 42 627, reaching votes (0.75%).
