The Partitu di a Nazione Corsa ( Corsican : Party of the Corsican Nation , PNC) was a Corsican regional party that was founded in Corte in 2002 and merged into Femu a Corsica in 2017 .
Members of three nationalist parties, including the Corsican People's Union (UPC), were responsible for the establishment . The PNC advocates Corsican autonomy. It is a member of the association of French regional parties, Fédération Régions et Peuples Solidaires, and at European level a member of the European Free Alliance .
In the French presidential election in 2007 , the PNC supported the Green candidate Dominique Voynet in the first round of elections .
The party has one seat in the General Council of the Corse-du-Sud département , five seats in the Corsican regional parliament and, in François Alfonsi, a member of the European Parliament who was elected in the 2009 European elections in the Sud-Est constituency , on the Europe Ecologie list .
