Çetin Mandacı ( Greek Τσετίν Μουχάμερ Μάντατζη Tsetin Mouchamer Mandatzi , born March 7, 1970 in Orfano, municipality of Topiros ) is a Greek politician from the Turkish minority of Western Thrace .

Life

Mandacı studied medicine at Istanbul University and works as a cardiologist at Xanthi General Hospital . He was elected to the Topiros City Council in 2002 and 2006 and was Deputy Mayor of the municipality until 2004. He was a member of the Comma Isotitas, Irinis ke Filias .

In the parliamentary elections in 2007 and 2009 , Mandacı was elected to the Greek parliament for the socialist PASOK in the Xanthi  constituency. Together with another member of the PASOK, he refused to approve the government alliance for the government of the non-party Loukas Papadimos , because the right- wing LAOS was also involved in the coalition alongside the conservative Nea Dimokratia . He was formally expelled from PASOK in February 2012, along with 21 other members of parliament who had refused to approve another government austerity package. He then held talks with Fotis Kouvelis  and other functionaries of the Democratic Left , but these did not lead to party membership.

Çetin Mandacı is married to Fikret Gülsüm and has three children.
