Eighth (Upper Palatinate)

Achtel is a former municipality in the Upper Palatinate district of Amberg-Sulzbach , which is now completely incorporated into the Hirschbach municipality .

The community was located in the former district of Sulzbach-Rosenberg , roughly in the middle of today's Hirschbach community. It consisted of 9 districts. In addition to the municipality of Oberachtel , these were Buchhof , Eggenberg , Munich , Oberklausen , Obermühle , Ratzenhof , Unterachtel and Unterklausen .

As part of the municipal reform , it was dissolved on January 1, 1972 and incorporated into the Hirschbach municipality.
