Adalbero Kunzelmann

Adalbero Kunzelmann (born Wilhelm Kunzelmann ; born March 18, 1898 in Würzburg ; † August 5, 1975 ) was a German Augustinian , church musician and author . He wrote a comprehensive history of the German Augustinians.

Life

Adalbero Kunzelmann lived in the Münnerstadt monastery . He founded the church music school there around 1953 and became its director. He was also the diocesan president of the Cecilia societies in the diocese of Würzburg .

Work (selection)

Adalbero Kunzelmann wrote an eight-volume history of the Augustinian hermits in Germany and published the moral theological writings of Augustine . He also published church music manuals and composed organ music and masses .
