description

The four-storey Art Nouveau building in Adalbertstrasse was built by Paul Liebergesell and Feodor Lehmann from 1902 to 1904 for the “Krippenverein München links der Isar”. It was built as the St. Josef's Infant Care Center , with two floors still being used as a day nursery today. After the Second World War , the state capital Munich took over the management of the day nursery . The building with its hipped roof has bas-reliefs depicting Mary and the baby Jesus, framed by two angels. In 1956 the house was rebuilt. The enclosure with front garden gate dates from the time it was built.
