Adam Abramowicz (Jesuit)

Adam Abramowicz (* August 24, 1710 ; † 1766 ) was a Polish Jesuit .

Life

Adam Abramowicz was born on August 24, 1710 and entered the Order in 1726. He first taught in low schools for four years and then served as a preacher for eight years . He taught philosophy and theology .

In 1751 he became Regens and first rector of the Collegium Nobilium in Vilnius , which he expanded in the following years. He later worked as rector in Nyasvish as well as in Polatsk and Minsk .
