Adam Hoos

Adam Hoos (born August 20, 1911 in Goßmannsdorf ; † September 7, 1941 in the Soviet Union ) was a German student functionary and student leader for Main Franconia .

Life

Hoos, the son of a tailor, studied medicine at the University of Würzburg from 1933 to 1938 . He was a member of the NSDAP and the SS since 1933 and a member of the National Socialist German Student Union (NSDStB) from 1935 . In April 1937 he became student leader of the University of Würzburg and in May 1937 Gaustudentenführer for the Reichsgau Mainfranken. He held this position until his death.

After passing the state examination in 1938, Hoos became SS-Untersturmführer in 1939 . As a war volunteer in the Wehrmacht , he initially took part in the Second World War as a driver . Later he was a medical doctor. He died as a result of a mine explosion.
