Adam Ondraschek (born July 19, 1986 in Opava , Czechoslovakia ) is a German - Czech ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with the Kassel Huskies in the ice hockey league since 2011 .
Career
Adam Ondraschek began his career in 2004 with the ice hockey youth Kassel in the junior Bundesliga before he was appointed by the Kassel Huskies to the outsourced professional team of the club for the 2004/05 season .
Although he was relegated to the second Bundesliga with the huskies in the same season, he dominated the second highest German division with the "sled dogs". The native Czech was unable to celebrate promotion to the German Ice Hockey League with the Huskies in the 07/08 season, as he moved to the Lauterbach Highlanders in the regional league during the promotion season.
In 2008 the goalie finally moved to Halle an der Saale , where he only played one season and in 2009 he moved to the Blue Lions Leipzig , who play in the Regionalliga Ost.
Adam Ondraschek won the Regionalliga Ost with the Blue Lions Leipzig in the 2009/10 season. He also supported the second team of the Eislöwen Leipzig and won the Saxony Cup with them in the same season.
In spring 2010 the Blue Lions went bankrupt. Along with the brothers Lars and Jens Müller, Ondraschek is one of three players who remained loyal to Leipzig ice hockey and joined the newly founded Icefighters Leipzig club. This team completed the 2010/11 season in the Oberliga Ost and finished eighth. For the 2011/12 season he returned to his hometown club Kassel Huskies from the Oberliga West.
