Adam Soboczynski

Adam Soboczynski (* 1975 in Toruń , Poland as Adam Soboczynski ) is a German journalist and writer with Polish roots.

Life

Soboczynski was born in 1975 in Toruń , Poland . In 1981 he and his family moved from what was then the People's Republic of Poland to the Federal Republic of Germany before martial law was declared .

He grew up in Koblenz-Neuendorf and attended the Episcopal Cusanus Gymnasium in Koblenz. After graduating from high school, he studied German and philosophy in Bonn, Berkeley (California) and St Andrews (Scotland). He was then admitted to the Philosophical Faculty of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn in 2005 with the investigation The adjustment of adjustment. Readings on the secret with Heinrich von Kleist on Dr. phil. PhD.

Then he started in the life section of the weekly newspaper Die Zeit . Since 2013 he heads together with Radisch the features section .
